At times like this when I am frustrated, I want to head to the store and buy my favorites. Lately, my palate has been introduced to Marty's veggie chicharon (by Oishi). I SUPER L♥VE the plain salted flavor rather than the salt and vinegar. It still has a high sodium content but indulging in such flavorful food once in a while makes me forget my troubles.

To balance the saltiness, I pair it off with a cheese cupcake from Lemon Square. Unlike commercially-sold cupcakes, this one is SO DIFFERENT. It has a smooth texture and each bite is certainly worth your PHP6.
